Folgate Insurance (formerly APC Underwriting) has been a recognised and established insurer since 1877. They combine our traditional values with innovative underwriting, giving brokers access to a long-established, UK domiciled insurer. In its history the Company principally wrote some major personal and commercial insurance accounts as well as business via regional offices around the UK.
They underwrite classes such as Property, General Liability, Professional Liability, Directors & Officers and Warranty. We also underwrite binding authorities through MGAs and independent brokers.
ICE built a strong working relationship with the Underwriting and Risk Management Team, delivering Commercial Liability, Commercial Material Damage and BI, Commercial Property Owners, Residential Property Owners and Contractors All Risks Risk Surveys across the United Kingdom. With surveys carried out in high risk environments, such as nuclear power stations through to multiple occupancy dwellings, we are able to give the Underwriter a full understanding of the risks.
