Client: Franki Foundations Group UK
Franki Foundations UK Group consists of three specialists piling divisions, the group include Franki foundations UK, Able Piling and Martello Piling.
Franki Foundations carry out large scale CFA and Rotary piling methods using the larger type of piling rigs. Able Pilling undertake mini piling works, which consist of works being carried out on domestic houses and smaller commercial sites, Able also carry out concrete slab foundations and underpinning services to new builds and existing buildings in some cases listed.
Martello Piling are well known in the piling industry for their expertise in undertaking restricted access piling works, the rigs used have been custom built by Martello.
The works carried out include railway and motorway works with access issues.
Martello have undertaken notable projects on sporting venues, landmarks and government buildings that have included Whitehall old war rooms where they carried out restricted access and CFA Piling on the project.
Lords cricket ground consisted of Martello Piling undertaking specialist piling for the new stand being constructed.
Martello have recently completed works on the Sherwood Street project; this project is the construction of a new hotel. The project required the rig to be deconstructed then lowered down in the basement where the rig was re-assembled to allow the works to be carried out.
ICE Risk Management have worked with the Franki Foundations Group UK to ensure health and safety management systems are implemented and maintained across a number of projects. Regular site auditing and support has been provided including provision of CDM support where they have fulfilled the Principal Contractor role.
